Hello, I'm Marina
My name is campanella Marina Ribezzi. I was born in Puglia and adopted by Lombardy: I live in a small town in the north with Joy, the dog who gave this blog half of its name.
I got into cooking as a child, watching my mother: her recipes were the first notebook I ever studied, and if I am here telling them today it is down to her. Everything else came slowly — trying, getting it wrong, reading, taking the odd course — until curiosity turned into the habit of making a dish again and again until it comes out the way it should.
What you will find here
Easy recipes, the kind anyone can cook: the ones you put together with whatever is in the cupboard, and the more careful ones for occasions that deserve them. Next to the dishes there are the tips, the small ones that change the outcome: how to plan the timings, what can be made the day before, which step is not worth skipping.
Desserts are still my favourite ground, and where chocolate is concerned I am not even going to defend myself. But everything ends up on the table sooner or later, from bread to pasta to fish, because that is how a home kitchen works.
Why "Sapori Joyosi"
Because the flavours are joyful ones, and because Joy is always somewhere nearby: in the videos, in the photos, and in a few recipes made just for her. The name started there and never moved.
